Hello Tea Dragon enthusiasts! 

Mountain Chamomile was our first Kickstarter and it was an absolute delight to see this campaign grow with everyone's love for Tea Dragons. Kay O'Neill, author and creator of the Tea Dragon world, would like to leave you with some parting words.

Watching the Kickstarter grow over the past month has been a wonderful experience — my socks are knocked completely off! Thanks so much to all the supporters who will be taking home their own grumpy friend to love and cuddle, as well as to the team at Oni Press who have worked so hard to develop and deliver these charming creatures.

I'm no expert on Tea Dragons, but here are some ideas for activities that I think your new Alpine Chamomile dragon would really enjoy doing with you when they arrive in your home:

1. Completing a puzzle. Nothing makes them feel more relaxed than a long, slightly complex task that they can complete with their owners. (They also love watching people untangle necklaces or strings).

2. Labelling containers or boxes, or organising a drawer. Though not exactly neat freaks (unlike Jasmine dragons), Alpine Chamomiles like to know that everything is in its proper place in life.

3. Catching a little sun. Whether it's through a window, on a balcony or in a safely distanced space outdoors, Alpine Chams love to soak up the sunshine, and it makes their coats even more buttery yellow.

4. Brewing and drinking tea. Of course! All Tea Dragons love to watch tea being brewed, even if it's not their own. Alpine Chamomile dragons have an affinity with floral tea varieties, and especially love blooming tea.

What happens now?

The campaign is ending, but you'll hear plenty more from us! Between now and fulfillment in September 2021, we will be posting updates at least once a month to keep you informed of our production and manufacturing process. Once delivery nears, we'll be posting more often. We'll be readily available for any questions you have between now and then.  

We've opened up Late Pledges and we expect to send the Pledge Manager surveys in the next couple of weeks. Everyone who pledged at least $1 on this campaign will be able to add the plushies, books, games or blanket through the Backerkit survey. This includes adding additional plushies or just upgrading a "No Reward" pledge to the "Ultimate Cuddle Bundle" pledge level.

We'd like to leave you with one last parting gift, a new set of digital wallpapers (2880x1800 and 1920x1080) handpicked by our Senior Graphic Designer (the person responsible for making this campaign page GORGEOUS), Kate Z. Stone.

Hello tea lovers,

We hope you had a relaxing weekend sipping on tea and eating biscuits. Our week is starting with some fantastic news. We passed $200,000 in pledges! In other news, our amazing game publishing partners at Renegade Game Studios have officially outdone themselves with their new Kickstarter, My Father's Work. Fancy yourself as a tinkerer of terror? Players are competing mad scientists entrusted with a page from their father's journal and a large estate in which to perform their devious experiments. Players earn points by completing experiments, aiding the town in its endeavors, upgrading their macabre estates, and hopefully completing their father's masterwork.

MORE Ultimate Cuddle Bundles!

Hi folks!

WOWZA. You guys grabbed every single ultimate cuddle bundle. We honestly didn't think this would happen and with seven days left on the campaign!

One of main reasons we limited this bundle was to avoid overwhelming our amazing warehouse staff with 500 large packages to ship, but now that we see how many people love the bundle, we're OPENING THIS PUPPY UP!! We're enlisting some extra help and we'll be packing up as many cuddle bundles as you folks can handle!
